New ASN Class For Parents & Kids

A new ASN class for parents and children is being held every friday starting 24th February 2023 from 10.30 to 12.30pm at Ardeer Youth & Community Centre.  Cost £2 per child.

Community is our best resource and that’s why The Village Larder would like your recipes, hints and tips to share.
 
They will credit your name on any hints and recipes used. There will also be opportunities to join in our community cooking sessions in the near future if you fancy it.

Social prescribing is… taking pressure off the NHS

It is estimated that almost a fifth of GP appointment time is spent on non-medical problems – including loneliness, isolation, relationship issues, or stress related to money or housing. Social prescribing gives doctors, organisations, and other professionals a way to help people, and address their problems more effectively.  

Evidence shows that social prescribing can take pressure off the NHS by reducing the need for GP appointments and for medical prescriptions.

Dalry Library – Story & Toy Time

Starting Tuesday 7th February. Dalry library will be hosting a story time followed by toy time on the 1st Tuesday of every month, 10:30-11:30am.
