Relief Unit Assistant (Bank Staff)

Description:
The successful candidates will support permanent staff within the Unit by providing cover for annual leave, sickness, training etc. and will assist in providing a safe and pleasant environment for residents. You will be a strong team player and committed to providing excellent service delivery and will be flexible regarding your availability for work. Ideally you will have some experience of dealing with vulnerable client groups and will possess a social care background/qualification or will be working towards a recognised qualification, however this is not essential as full training will be given. This post provides an excellent opportunity to work in a customer focused environment within a forward thinking and dynamic organisation. This post is subject to a PVG Disclosure Scotland check.

We work in partnership with North Ayrshire Council to operate a modern, well-resourced Homeless Persons’ Facility in Irvine, North Ayrshire. Victoria House operates 24 hours a day, all year round and provides temporary accommodation to a broad mixture of client groups ranging from young single male and female residents to families. To assist in the effective delivery of this excellent service the Association is looking to recruit committed people to join their team.
