Pet Fostering Service Scotland

Pet Fostering Service Scotland provides short term emergency care for pets, when their owner is unable through illness, homelessness or domestic abuse, and cannot arrange alternative care.

9am to 7pm daily, then select the option for your area.  You may have to leave a message
To discuss temporary pet foster care please contact the local Area Organiser, his is a standard rate call charge and may be inclusive with the phone contract.

SeaSalt Streets Volunteering

SeaSalt Streets are a group of local volunteers seeking to make improvements to Dockhead Street (Saltcoats) and surrounding environments.

The Group uses creative and innovative approaches to enhancing the look of the area including improving street furniture, street planting, adding street art and re-imaging how to use empty shop units.

Dundonald Castle Fun Day 31st July 1-3pm

This year to kick off Games’ Week here in Dundonald, Dundonald Castle will be hosting a fun and interactive event for all our young history enthusiasts!
Come along to this free event on 31st July 1-3pm and take part in a variety of experiences, including dress-up, mini jousting, medieval medicine-making, Roman & Medieval artifact handling, short castle tours, and more!
There’s also plenty of space for a family picnic and you can top these up with a great food and drink selection in the visitor centre.
No tickets needed, just pop along on the day between 1-3pm 🏰
