Overview
VIPs is a user lead charity, social enterprise and company dedicated to improving the health and well being of people with learning disability and autism spectrum disorder.
Service Description
We promote citizenship and social inclusion by offering various activities and opportunities for people to learn new skills, take part in community events and encourage friendships and better social networks. We run a community cafe ” The Black Cat Cafe” at The Hut, and our activities include a Film Club, Guys Night, Girls Night, a Karaoke Nightclub, Zumba sessions,discos in Kilmarnock and Ardeer and an African drumming group in Mauchline – and much more. We are the leading provider of social activities in East Ayrshire and everyone is welcome at our events and activities.We have a quarterly magazine that has details of our events as well as other information and articles.
Costs
Most activities cost £3 and include a snack. Discos are a little more.

We have premises The VIP Hut- that most activities take place in. It is an accessible building, the Cafe seats 25 people, prices are low and the atmosphere is friendly!
