Service Description

CBS is a collection of services based in Hazeldene, Blair Road, Kilwinning. Service users are supported to improve existing skills and learn new skills in a working environment. CBS provides different environments and skill bases for service users with the aim of preparing them for a work or volunteer placements in the community. Hazydays and Sparkly Crafts provide a range of craft skills to suit each individual’s preferences and abilities. Lunch to Go is a successful catering operation which trains service users in many aspects of food preparation and presentation.

Duration

Training programmes or placements are for a set period, determined by an individual’s agreed outcomes and support plan.

Resources and Amenities

Staff are trained in all aspects of social care and additional specific training allocated to their care responsibilities such as computing and IT, Catering and Art and Crafts

Accessibility

All buildings are adapted and fully-accessible.
