Overview
CHARLIE is a 30 week programme specifically designed to support 8-11 yrs with the impact of parental substance misuse. This service is designed by the Young Person Support Team drug and alcohol workers to better support young people living or having experienced the impact of a parents substance misuse.
Service Description
10 weeks swimming lessons with KA Leisure and the Scottish Swimming Association.
10 weeks addressing impact of parental substance misuse via CHARLIE booklets. This covers three main areas:
*Understanding Habits
*Thoughts and Feelings
*Learning and Personal Safety
10 weeks of drama lessons with Harbour Arts Centre.
All referrals will be assessed via CHARLIE referral tool prior to attending the group.

No cost, if eligible, as the project is part of North Ayrshire Council
Duration
