Overview

If want to become more active but your mental and/or physical health is making this difficult, ALBA may be able to help. This is a Scottish Association For Mental Health (SAMH) project.

 


Service Description

Receive up to 16 weeks of free support, on a one-to-one basis, with an ALBA practitioner and focus on building:

  • Motivation
  • Confidence
  • Resilience

ALBA staff will support you prior to beginning physical activity to enable you to feel ready to start your activity programme.

You can be referred to ALBA via:

  • The existing Exercise Referral Schemes managed by KA Leisure
  • A health professional e.g GP, Community Connector


Costs

No costs for service


Duration

Up to 16 weeks one to one support.
