Free Wood Giveaway

Local residents are invited to collect a share of wood logs and wood chips from the former Dreghorn Recycling Centre on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 August 2022.
Wood supply is limited and it will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be limits to the quantity of wood collected per person.

Pet Fostering Service Scotland provides short term emergency care for pets, when their owner is unable through illness, homelessness or domestic abuse, and cannot arrange alternative care.

SeaSalt Streets Volunteering

SeaSalt Streets are a group of local volunteers seeking to make improvements to Dockhead Street (Saltcoats) and surrounding environments.

The Group uses creative and innovative approaches to enhancing the look of the area including improving street furniture, street planting, adding street art and re-imaging how to use empty shop units.
