Supported accommodation is for young people and has extra support from specialist staff, ranging from weekly visits to intensive 24-hour support. This allows people to live independently in the community, while being supported.

Amenity housing is specially adapted self-contained accommodation designed to meet the needs of older or people, disabled people or people with learning disabilities.

Sheltered housing is also self-contained accommodation designed for older people. It has all the features of amenity housing but in additional features including built-in community alarm systems.
