The Rotary Club of Ardrossan & Saltcoats is part of Rotary International.
Rotary International is a service organisation of 1.2 million members who want to improve the lives of people throughout the world.
Eradication of polio is Rotary’s number one priority – and we’re almost there. But we also promote world peace, alleviate hunger, reduce poverty and child mortality.
We meet every Thursday in the Lauriston Hotel, South Crescent Road, 6pm for 6.30pm.
If you’re interested in improving the lot of others then this may be the place for you. Beside supporting the objectives of Rotary International the members are all committed to providing support to the local community. This is done through fundraising for the benefit of local charities and community groups by; Bag Packing, Quiz and Race Nights, Ceilidhs and Burns Suppers. We also run a variety of events for the local school; Primary Schools Quiz Literacy / Art Competition Young Musician Competition. If we had a few more members we could achieve even more. We meet weekly to plan events and listen to a wide range of speakers: Authors to Artists; Charity workers to Chefs. It could be anything. If you are involved in something special, come and tell us about it.
To become a full member about £100 per year. But, you can volunteer to help for nothing.
