Overview
We are a group of four professionally trained and experienced Mindfulness Teachers who work to a code of ethics developed by the UK Mindfulness Network. Our aim is to promote mindfulness and provide Mindfulness-based training across Ayrshire. In the main we deliver the 8 Week Mindfulness Based Living Course, developed by the Mindfulness Association but can also deliver bespoke Mindfulness training to specific groups and organisations throughout the county. Service Description
Our Mindfulness-Based Living Course (MBLC) comprises
- Two hour Introductory Session cost £10 (refunded if registering for the full Course)
- 8 x 2-hour weekly Core Sessions
- A full day session (optional), 10.00am – 4.00pm with lunch provided
- Comprehensive notes and audio support materials of the practice exercises for each week
- Follow-up session a few weeks after the course ends
- Afternoon and evening classes available throughout Ayrshire, depending on demand
- Developed by the Mindfulness Association in conjunction with the University of Aberdeen
Costs
Full Course, as detailed above, costs £200. Can be paid in instalments. A few concessionary places may be available.
Duration
As detailed above, the full Course comprises 26 hours in total, covering teaching, practice sessions and related inquiry.
Resources and Amenities
A comprehensive Workbook and audio support materials are provided on a weekly basis.
Accessibility
Mindfulness in Ayrshire Teachers will be happy to provide courses or bespoke sessions in venues throughout Ayrshire.
