Overview

Irvine Senior Foum is for people over 50, who would like to be part of a local group supporting the interests of senior citizens in the Irvine area. Campaigning on issues that are relevant to seniors.


Service Description

The group discuss the issues that affect senior citizens (50+) and advocate on their behalf. With a decreasing younger population and an increasing older population they need a voice. It is a friendly group and all are welcome. The Group are members of the joint North Ayrshire Elderly Forum, Scottish Seniors Alliance and the Scottish Pensioners Forum. They recently hosted the Scottish Older Peoples’ Assembly meeting in the Volunteer Rooms where 140 seniors gave their views on issues that affect them.
