Overview
The HOPE (Helping Older People Evolve) Project provides a wide range of services specifically for over 50`s within the local community and throughout North Ayrshire. Our main aim is to help older people remain independent within their own homes for longer and to help them enjoy life in the company of others through the provision of numerous services i.e. social activities; outings; interest, and information & advice. Health & fitness classes coming soon.
We make available our extensive information Library to ensure that people are assisted in making informed choices on all aspects of their golden years.

Costs
Lunch Club, every Tuesday & Thursday 12pm – 2pm, basic menu starts at £2.50 extras are additional. All fresh homemade food!
Social activities (depending on whether materials need to be replaced) start at £1.00.
Social outings (dependant on venue and the need for a bus with wheelchair access) start at £5.
Classes & Activities have a charge of £1 to cover tea & coffee.
- How To Use Your Tablet Group, Tuesdays 2 – 3pm. Bring your tablet and learn at your own pace. Booking is essential please phone first.
- Men’s Group, Thursdays 2pm – 4pm. Come along, have a cuppa and a chat with Tam and the gang.
- Drop – In Wednesday morning for coffee & chat
- Friday Interest day varies examples are Energy efficiency, Matinee Film, Cookery & interest groups.

Resources and Amenities
CLASPS Resource Centre is situated in the centre of Stevenston town across from the Medical centre, it is available for let including evenings for meetings etc. The Resource Centre houses an extensive Information Library covering a wide spectrum of topics including benefits, safety, health, fitness, nutrition plus information on local & national support agencies. Our dedicated Information & Advice Officers will research any areas not covered that you may request.
