Overview
Spring, summer, autumn and winter – the beauty of Eglinton Country Park is on your doorstep!
Immersed in a rich history, our Country Park gives you space and freedom to enjoy a wide range of pursuits. The area is crisscrossed with paths and bridleways which allow you to get closer to the natural world. Our Ranger Service has a busy programme of events tailored to young people and their families. Children will also love our All-Abilities Play Park and after the fun you can enjoy home-made snacks and a drink in the Tournament Cafe.
Service Description
Eglinton Country Park gives you the space and freedom to enjoy a wide range of pursuits – tranquil country walks, play and picnic areas, cycling, horse riding, fishing on the lochside or simply watching the wildlife world go by. There is also a full programme of exciting organized events run by our Countryside Rangers right through the year as well as events run by local groups and large organisations.

There is a small charge for some Ranger Events, please contact us for price information.

24 hours, 7 days per week
Visitor Centre is open from Mid March to Mid October from 9.30am – 4pm daily.

Accessibility
The visitor centre complex and cafe is all wheelchair accessible along with the main paths within the country park. Our all ability play facility has wheelchair swings, keys and clamps can be obtained from the visitor centre.
We have a hoist system within our first aid room and a wheelchair accessible toilet within the main complex along with gents and ladies toilets. These are located beside the cafe.
Eglinton Country Park has 2 mobility scooters which can be booked in advance of your visit and allow visitors with mobility issues to have ease of access to various areas within the park. Please note we have a £20 deposit policy which is returnable when the mobility scooter is returned to the visitor centre. We also have all ability bikes including a trike and dual bike.
