Service Description

Working in partnership with Skills Development Scotland, Spark of Genius deliver Stage 2 & 3 of the Employability Fund training program, created in response to the needs of employers and the local labour markets, by supporting young people aged 16-24yrs towards gaining a college place or employment.

Each stage of the program lasts for 14 weeks and gives all young people the opportunity to gain SQA qualifications and take part in work experience placements with local employers.  All those eligible, will receive £55 per wk training allowance and assistance with travel costs.

Places on the course are by referral only and should be directed through your local SDS or DWP office.
