Quarriers is a unique, inspirational Scottish charity which grew from one man’s vision to an organisation that makes thousands of families stronger. We challenge poverty and inequality of opportunity to bring about positive changes in people’s lives. We support families to deal with the challenges life brings. We give people affected by epilepsy a new life, offer young homeless people support to unlock their potential, give adults with disabilities more opportunities, and importantly, a voice. Our staff members are experts in providing care in a range of areas.
Quarriers Lyssenmore Service aims to help you live in your own home and choose the life you want through intensive support. We spend time with each individual to understand how they prefer to communicate. At Lyssenmore, we provide a full 24-hour care package within your own tenancy or one-to-one support care packages based on individual needs. We strive to meet the needs of all the people we support, whether those needs are social, cultural, educational, and emotional. All support is personalised, with individuals at the centre of all care planning. We’re flexible to meet changing needs of individuals. Quarriers Lyssenmore service aims to provide the people we support with the confidence to achieve their aspirations by ensuring there is confidence in our staff. In recognising that it is important for all of us to feel safe, we recruit staff who are caring, sensitive, professional and positive. We also support staff to gain relevant qualifications.
Our services range from a few hours a week to full 24 hour support packages.
