Service Description

Fully accredited by the National Autistic Society, individuals (from 18 upwards) receive specialist support and the highest standard of care for everyday living. With their own dedicated and experienced staff team, individuals are encouraged to participate, where possible, in the development of their individual care plans and the involvement of family and friends is greatly valued. The centre is extrememly well-equipped, comprising of 25 purpose built one and two bedroomed houses with en-suite facilities, a gymnasium, sensory room, training and IT rooms and quiet rooms.

The service also provides flexible short term care on a planned basis offering the same quality service and support with a specific staff team identified.

Support workers are qualified to SVQ level 2. We have a speech and language therapist, occupational therapist, clinical psychologist, assistant psychologist, art instructor, music instructor and a gym instructor.

Costs are individualised.

Duration

The service is available for people as long as they require it.

Accessibility

Education centre is wheelchair accessible. All of the houses are open plan and accessible from the ground floor.
