Service Description

Presently we offer a person centred  befriending and mentoring service to children ,young people & their families who reside within North Ayrshire who require additional support.

We also offer a niche befriending and mentoring service to children either on the edges of the care system or involved with statutory services.

We can also provide a package of support at key trigger times for children who are accommodated within Local Authority Children’s houses, for example we offer support  between the hours of 15.00 & 23.00 in the evenings, including weekends.  We can also provide Local Authorities with flexible options regarding taking young people out of district for short weekend breaks during times of crisis. We believe our services can prevent family/ placement breakdown.

We also offer the following services:

• Welfare visits to at risk families
• Assessments
• Family work
• Individual work with children/young people
• Group work with at risk youth

 

 

Costs

• Welfare visits to families £30 per hour per worker
• Assessments prices  negotiable
• Family work £30 per hour per worker
• Individual work with children/young people £30 per hour
•  Group work with at risk youth £30 per hour per worker
• Crisis response work with children £30 per hour per worker

Mileage is charged at 40 pence per mile

We welcome enquiries from education, social services, health professionals and individual families in receipt of self directed support payments.

Fees are negotiable

Mon- Sun between 15.00 & 23.00

Resources and Amenities

Our workers are fully qualified in either Youth/Community work/Social Work & have post graduate qualifications in Child Protection.

Our workers make use of local amenities and shape packages of support around the child/ young person & family.
