Service Description

ILS has provided care at home, housing support and nursing services across Scotland for more than 16 years. We employ more than 1,600 dedicated staff who enable our services to be available 24 hours each day, 7 days per week, and our staff training and development programmes ensure that every one of our service users receives a professional and tailored package of care suited to their own specific circumstances. Care and support at home Whether for a few hours a day, a few times a week or more often, to suit service users needs, our services typically include: bathing and showering services, assisting with food preparation and nutrition, simple medication support, assisted movement support where individuals have mobility needs, and domestic support such as laundry, housework or shopping. Supported living services We firmly believe that individuals should be empowered to live independently in their own home and engage in their local communities. This means different things to different people and we are flexible in how we can provide guidance and support with everyday things like shopping and visiting friends. We can also support individuals to have a holiday in the UK or abroad, and with training and development opportunities that could lead to employment. Complex care needs ILS Nurses and support teams provide a range of specialist services for more complex conditions, such as Brain or Spinal Injury, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Cerebral Palsy, Motor Neurone Disease and many others, to children and adults of all ages. Other services These include hospital to home services, respite and accompanied trips, live in care, night time care services and palliative care services.

Costs

Our services are provided on contract back to North Ayrshire Council, but we also provide support on a private basis to those who wish to augment the care they receive through the council, or have other requirements for support. As all support needs are different, please contact us and we can advise you of likely costs for your individual circumstances.
