Forefaulds Care Home provides dementia, residential and nursing care for older people. We provide a homely environment and we strive to make the experience a comfortable, fulfilling and enriching one for everyone who stays with us.
We enable people to maintain lifestyles that are as similar as possible to those enjoyed at home. We encourage regular interaction with the local community, including contact with friends, family and local groups. We encourage friends and family to be involved through regular visits and participation at special activities, events and open days.
Our activities co-ordinator organises a range of activities designed to maintain people’s independence and enhance their quality of life. We support each person to pursue hobbies and interests that they had before coming to stay with us. The activities co-ordinator supports each resident to create their own activities plan which is tailored according to their social history and interests. Other activities include board games, gardening and regular outings to various places of interest. We often invite entertainers to visit the home and we encourage local schools and choirs to visit too. We are able to accommodate all religious services and observations.
Our experienced and qualified nursing staff provide 24 hour tailored care and are supported by a team of care assistants selected for their skills and experience in nursing, residential and dementia care.
Meals times are an important part of the day at Forefaulds. Our experienced catering staff prepare a varied menu of fresh home cooked food every day and we cater for individual likes and dislikes from a cultural, religious or choice perspective.
This service is available seven days a week , 24 hours a week for as long as it is required.
