We can help with basic decorating (not wallpaper), and removal of large items as part of a house move.
You must meet our criteria of either; being elderly, infirm, disabled, child with disability, or in a position of need, and have no means of support.
We will not assist if you have family living locally who could help you out.
Some examples of our work is shown below.
We are holding a Christmas Fayre at Ardeer CC on Sat 23rd Nov. 10.30-14.30. There will be various stalls including handcrafts, home baking, tombola, planters, garden furniture that can be ordered for the Spring, meet Santa, free gift for kids. Admission £1, includes Tea or Coffee.
Service Description
We carry out an initial assessment of your request. If you meet our criteria, a team of offenders, carrying out a Community Payback Order issued from Court, will carry out the work. The team will be supervised. We are not tradesmen, and there is no comeback to this service on any works undertaken.
Where paint work is requested, the paint requires to be purchased by the recipient of the service. We also build various garden furniture.
Please note that we are not able to remove any items and/or rubbish to waste disposal sites, this can be carried out by the Council’s Streetscene Dept.
