Service Description

We can help with practical things such as shopping, assisting, preparing and cooking meals, cleaning, laundry, ironing and other domestic tasks. We can help people manage household bills, organise and attend appointments, and days out to meet friends or other activities. We also provide respite services to allow carers and family members to take a break. We provide personal care and support, help getting up and getting ready for bed, bathing and washing, dressing and assistance with managing medicines. When care needs become more complex and challenging we can work with health colleagues and support hospital discharge, end of life care, palliative care, people with mental health issues and long term conditions such as Dementia, Parkinson’s, COPD and many others.

Duration

As we have been providing services for over 13 years in Ayrshire we understand being supported by consistant, well trained staff is of the upmost importance. All staff must complete an intensive 5 day training course followed by shadow training in the community with experienced staff. All staff are members of the PVG Scheme. Our Co-ordinators and Supervisors have all worked as carers and been with us for many years.
