Free Health and Social Care Distance Learning Courses

Ayrshire Independent Living Network (AILN) and The Skills Network are delighted to offer a range of free health and social care distance learning courses – thanks to the Scottish Funding Council in partnership with West College Scotland and North East Scotland College.
The Skills Network has created an AILN microsite, where anyone who meets the below criteria can view the courses and register online.
- Age 16+ as of 31 August 2022
- Lived in the EU for 3+ years
- Not in full time education
- Not currently enrolled on any equivalent courses.
- Not completed the same course previously
Courses are delivered via distance learning to fit around your schedule, allowing you to study at a time that suits you. Learners can do up to seven courses per year, providing they are completed one at a time.
